040001783 Ice Thickness Float Switch — Manitowoc Ice Machine — Sold Individually

Description

What it is

The ice thickness float switch controls when the machine drops the slab. When it drifts or fails, ice comes out too thin, too thick, or the machine will not harvest at all.

Not the same part as 040002396

040001783 is the ice thickness float switch. 040002396 is the harvest float switch — a different part. Check the number on the old switch before ordering.

Buy one, or keep spares

Sold as a single unit — enough for one repair. If you keep spares on the shelf, the Value Pack costs less per unit.

Before you order

Fitment on ice machines is not universal — the same voltage and coil size can hide a different body, orifice or connector. If you are not certain this number matches your machine, send us the model and serial plate and we will confirm before you buy. If it does not fit, we replace it.
