What it is
A replacement remote control for Philips smart TVs, Blu-ray players and media players that accept the URMT42JHG006 remote (also referenced as YKF399-001). It operates the player over its normal range and only needs line-of-sight to the device’s IR window.

Power, numeric keypad, navigation pad with OK, volume and channel rockers, playback transport (play / pause / skip / stop), coloured service buttons, SOURCE, CC (subtitles), Teletext options, and Google Cast.
Why replace it rather than the player
The disc player or TV itself is fine — only the remote wears out from daily handling. A replacement remote is the cheapest fix.
